Warframe, one of the iconic action-shooter games of the PC and console world, has announced a mobile game. In the statement made at the TennoCon 2023 event, it was stated that the game will be released for iOS devices.
Warframe mobile game will be released in 2024
Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe is coming to mobile devices in 2024. The mobile version will have “cross-platform” support. This will allow players to transfer their accounts between PC, console and mobile devices.
Originally released in 2013, Warframe has gained a dedicated player base with its co-op PvE gameplay and fun world. Launching in 2024, the mobile version will optimize the game for touch controls. However, Digital Extremes has guaranteed to deliver “core Warframe action”.
Digital Extremes also announced which iPhone and iPad models the mobile game will be compatible with. Supported iPhone devices start from iPhone XS and iPad devices start from 6th generation iPad Mini and 4th generation iPad Air.
In addition to this release, a number of other Warframe-related announcements were made. Among them is a new DLC pack called Warframe 1999. It should be noted that the first trailer for the expansion pack has been shared. You can watch the trailer below:
Although no exact release date has been set, the iOS version is scheduled for 2024. No announcement has been made about whether it will come to Android. It will also be available for free for mobile.
